Joe Paprocki, the author of Catechist’s Journey, concluded his series of webinars titled “Getting Started as a Catechist” tonight. In the first session he focused on the basics (the role of the catechist, lesson planning, and creating an effective learning environment) and in tonight’s second session he focused on reflective prayer, liturgical prayer, discipline and polishing our teaching technique to become effective teachers.
Thank you, Joe, for continuing to challenge catechists, religion teachers, and theology teachers to develop our teaching skills on the web!
Joe has been an avid blogger about catechesis for a number of years. He is the author of the Catechist’s Toolbox, A Well-Built Faith, and the Bible Blueprint. His blog is now hosted by Loyola Press.
